St. Toad asked:

Is it possible that the human species could branch into truly different species and what behaviors and habits, if persistantly followed down through generations, might/could cause significant biological speciation?
You can get serious, or just be imaginative with this one.
Doesn’t how we live affect the behavior of our offspring?

Is this why fiction is such insanely popular? Life to me just seems very boring. The highlights of modern life is owning a nice house and fancy car, getting a decent education and job, then retiring and dying. Where is the adventure? This is why to me I read many books, watch movies, and play games. To me real life is just a boring dull existence.

What Is Global Warming?

Click here to find out more!
The Planet is Heating Up—and Fast

Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, cloud forests are drying, and wildlife is scrambling to keep pace. It’s becoming clear that humans have caused most of the past century’s warming by releasing heat-trapping gases as we power our modern lives. Called greenhouse gases, their levels are higher now than in the last 650,000 years.
SEE HOW IT WORKS

We call the result global warming, but it is causing a set of changes to the Earth’s climate, or long-term weather patterns, that varies from place to place. As the Earth spins each day, the new heat swirls with it, picking up moisture over the oceans, rising here, settling there. It’s changing the rhythms of climate that all living things have come to rely upon.

What will we do to slow this warming? How will we cope with the changes we’ve already set into motion? While we struggle to figure it all out, the face of the Earth as we know it—coasts,

Is it something about the music or movie scene, politics, people’s attitudes about things or their manners that bothers you most? Are you disturbed by some new technology or invention, current fashions (or lack thereof) or some aspect of modern-day slang? What about the world we live in bothers you the most?
